is there a similar thing going on in the brain for depression along with adhd/add?

ive wondered the same thing. ive always thought it might involve the way add/adhd affects the persons life and maybe that causes them to develop depression. thats my theory anyway. :0

sometimes, but depression can also cause a variety of things similar to ad/h/d because it can impede concentration and stuff
